An architect gives you $100

UPDATE! – We have a winner > Check it out HERE. Thanks for entering everyone & see you in DC.

I’m going to give someone $100. This year I will be “speaking” at the AIA 2012 National Convention. Because I am awesome, and they have drastically lowered their standards at the AIA. One of those, possibly both.

Wait… What does AIA stand for again?

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) national convention will be in Washington DC this year, from May 17-19. This year’s theme will be “Design Connects”. Want to go? of course you do. If you haven’t signed up yet you can find out how HERE. You should go. In fact I’ll help you out.

I’m going to give one lucky reader $100 to help offset the expenses for this year’s AIA convention. Plus, the AIA has offered to throw in a giftbag of various goodies from the AIA Bookstore! Awesome right?

Here’s how it will work:

  • If you’d like some help with the expenses for this years convention, just say so in the comment section below.

  • I’ll give everyone a week to respond

  • Then on April 6th I’ll randomly choose one commenter and give them $100 and the giftbag.

  • That’s all there is to it.

Plus, you can meet me in person there if you want. I will be on a panel talking about Architects “who blog” with the fabulous Bob Borson and Cindy Frewen Wuellner. We will be waxing poetic about the benefits of writing about architecture on the internet… where other people can read it.  Surprisingly, that will happen Thurs. the 17th at 2:00-3:30. Sign up today for: “Architects who Blog: Connecting Online for Influencing, Educating, and Inspiring About Architecture”. I’ll be the nervous one.

Good Luck!

Jody
